Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had an injection of any substance into the affected knee joint in the past 6 months
- People who have had knee surgery in the past 12 months
- People who have or have had a malignant cancer
- People who have a rheumatic disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis or similar conditions)
- People who have diabetes
- People who have a blood or clotting disorder
- People who are currently taking blood-thinning medication
- People who have a thyroid gland disorder affecting metabolism
- People with a history of misusing alcohol, drugs, or medications
- People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 35
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to bovine (cow-derived) collagen or vitamin C
- People who have an active infection, bleeding into the joint, redness, or psoriasis patches in or around the knee area
