Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed with COPD (a lung condition) by a doctor, either based on their medical history or a breathing test result
- People who are currently in hospital with a suspected flare-up (sudden worsening) of their COPD
- People who are enrolled in the trial within 48 hours of being admitted to hospital
