Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease (either confirmed or probable), or a related brain condition such as Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) or Lewy Body Dementia (LBD)
- You have at least one living brother or sister who has been diagnosed with probable or possible Alzheimer's disease
- You have a third living family member who either has Alzheimer's disease (diagnosed at age 50 or older) or does not have the condition but is aged 60 or older
- You are in the same generation as the main participant in the study, and you have someone who knows you well (a "companion") who can provide information about you
- You are able to give your own consent to join the study, OR if you are not able to do so, there is someone legally able to give consent on your behalf (such as a family member or legal representative)
Who may not be able to join:
- There is no suitable person available who knows you well enough to provide information about you
- Your diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or a related condition is not clear enough to confirm
- You have another condition that could explain your symptoms instead
- You do not wish to take part
- You do not have a living brother or sister with Alzheimer's disease or a related condition (except in certain cases of sporadic FTD or sporadic LBD — confirm with trial site)
- You are unable to give your own consent and there is no family member or legal representative available to consent on your behalf
