- People who have had another cancer within the past 3 years, except for certain treated skin cancers or very early-stage cancers that have been fully treated
- People who have previously received a treatment that targets a protein called BCMA on myeloma cells
- People who have received a live vaccine within 4 weeks before starting the trial
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial or received an experimental treatment within 30 days before starting this trial
