Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are male and aged 18 or older
  • People who have been diagnosed with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer (confirmed by biopsy), specifically a Gleason grade group of 2 or higher

  • People whose prostate cancer includes certain rare cell types, such as sarcomatoid, spindle cell, or neuroendocrine small cell components (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have a cardiac pacemaker
  • People who have metal implants or hardware in the pelvis or spine
  • People who experience claustrophobia or who require anaesthesia for medical imaging
  • People who are unable to have an endorectal coil used during their scan — for example, due to rectal bleeding, severe anal fissures or haemorrhoids, prior anal or rectal surgery, or the absence of a rectum
