Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have a confirmed harmful genetic mutation in one of the following genes: BRCA1, BRCA2, MSH2, MSH6, MLH1, PMS2, CHEK2, PALB2, or ATM
  • People who are over 18 years of age
  • People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and are at a point where imaging to check the stage of their cancer is medically appropriate, which includes one of three situations: a new prostate cancer diagnosis; a rising PSA level after having had surgery or radiotherapy more than 6 months ago, while not currently receiving hormone therapy or chemotherapy; or people on active surveillance whose PSA level is doubling every 6 months or less

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have been diagnosed with another cancer (other than certain skin cancers) within the past five years
  • People who are already known to have prostate cancer that has spread, whether to nearby areas or to distant parts of the body
  • People who have received any cancer treatment within the last six months
  • People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial involving an experimental drug
  • People who are currently taking steroid medications
  • People with a known history of certain inflammatory or infectious conditions, such as sarcoidosis, tuberculosis, or inflammatory bowel disease
  • People for whom an MRI scan would not be safe, such as those with a pacemaker, certain surgical clips in the brain, or severe claustrophobia (confirm with trial site for the full MRI safety checklist)
