Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who were admitted to hospital within 12 hours of their stroke
- People between the ages of 18 and 45 years old

- People who have another serious or life-threatening illness or condition
- People who have taken antibiotics, probiotics, or prebiotics at any point in the three months before the trial
