Who might be able to join this trial:
- Men between the ages of 35 and 74
- People who have not been diagnosed with prostate cancer
- People whose general health suggests they are expected to live more than 10 years
- People who meet the criteria for one of three groups:
- Group A: People who have had genetic testing at a certified laboratory that found a confirmed or likely harmful gene mutation linked to prostate cancer risk (in one of these genes: ATM, ATR, BRCA1, BRCA2, BRIP1, CHEK2, EPCAM, FANCA, GEN1, HOXB13, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, NBN, PALB2, PMS2, RAD51C, RAD51D, or TP53)
- Group B: People with a strong family history suggesting a high genetic risk for prostate cancer, but whose clinical genetic testing came back negative
- Group C: People who identify as Black American or Black Caribbean, with both parents and all four grandparents of Black or African ancestry
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously been diagnosed with or treated for prostate cancer
- People who are unable to have a prostate MRI scan
- People who are unable to receive the contrast dye used during an MRI scan
