Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children between 18 months and 14 years of age
- Children who were diagnosed with a cataract present from birth (a clouding of the lens in the eye that a child is born with)
- Children who had surgery to remove that cataract when they were between 2 and 24 months old

- Children who had an artificial lens (called an IOL) placed in the eye at the same time as the original cataract removal surgery

- Children whose artificial lens placement would need to be secured with stitches/sutures
