Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who meet specific criteria for being at risk of developing psychosis, as assessed through a structured clinical interview called the SIPS.
- People who are able to understand and agree to take part in the study on their own.

- People who are currently taking any psychiatric medication, unless it is an antidepressant that has been taken at a stable dose for at least 30 days.
- People who are pregnant or intend to become pregnant.
- People who are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed.
- People with a history of kidney stones.
- People currently taking antibiotic medication.
- People currently taking nitroglycerin medication.
- People with a known allergy to any ingredient in the trial treatment or the placebo.
