Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME)
- Your mental health condition has been stable for the past 3 months, meaning no change in your psychiatric diagnosis during that time
- You have not been admitted to a psychiatric hospital or needed emergency psychiatric care in the past 3 months
- You have not made a suicide attempt in the past 3 months
- You have access to the internet
- You are comfortable enough using electronic devices (such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone)
- You are willing to take part in the specific therapies offered in this trial (called ACT and MBEL)
Who may not be able to join:
- You do not have sufficient knowledge of the German language
- You have a serious mental health condition such as personality disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, dissociative disorders, significant intellectual disability, or untreated ADHD, or you are currently having thoughts of suicide
- You have an untreated or serious physical health condition, such as a thyroid problem or significant sleep apnea (confirm with trial site)
- You have a heart condition such as chronic heart failure
- You have a serious or untreated neurological condition, such as Parkinson's disease, dementia, restless legs syndrome, or narcolepsy
- You are dependent on alcohol or drugs
- You have recently started (within the past 3 months) taking psychiatric medication at a full treatment dose
- You have started a new type of psychotherapy within the past 3 months
- You are currently receiving other therapies such as acupuncture, qigong, or osteopathy
- You have had certain physical treatments, cortisone treatment, or radio-/chemotherapy within the past 6 months (confirm with trial site)
