Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You are scheduled for your first-ever corneal transplant surgery (surgery to replace the clear front part of the eye)
- You are able to understand and agree to the terms of the study
- You are able to apply eye drops yourself, or you have a caregiver who is able and willing to do this for you
Who may not be able to join:
- You currently have an active eye infection
- You have previously had a corneal transplant of any kind
- You have advanced glaucoma (a serious eye pressure condition) or advanced macular disease (a serious condition affecting central vision)
- You have an active or past infection with certain serious illnesses, including tuberculosis, histoplasmosis, coccidioidomycosis, cytomegalovirus, pneumocystis, aspergillosis, or hepatitis B
- You have been diagnosed with any type of cancer in the past 5 years
- You have a disease that affects the protective coating around your nerves (called a demyelinating disease)
- You have diabetes (whether controlled or not) or a serious heart condition classified as stage III or IV
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have a known allergy to infliximab or any ingredient in its eye drop formulation
- You have significant abnormalities in your blood count or liver enzyme test results
- You are currently taking or have previously taken anti-TNF-α medications or other biologic anti-inflammatory treatments (confirm with trial site)
