Who might be able to join this trial:

If you are a healthy volunteer (no disabilities):

• You are in good general health
• You have normal vision, or your vision is corrected with glasses or contact lenses
• You have no history of neurological or psychiatric conditions
• You are able to read and understand English (research staff do not speak Spanish)

If you have a motor disability, you may qualify if your movement difficulties are caused by one of the following:

• A stroke (affecting one or both sides of the body), spinal cord injury, motor neuron disease (such as ALS or multiple sclerosis), muscle disease, traumatic or nerve-related pain, movement disorders (such as cerebral palsy), orthopedic conditions, traumatic brain injury, or brain tumors
• You have normal vision, or your vision is corrected with glasses or contact lenses
• You are able to read and understand English
• You are able to give your own informed consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

If you have a motor disability:

• You have difficulty concentrating or significant cognitive challenges that would prevent you from staying focused during the full study session
• You are taking strong medications that affect the brain or alertness
• You have another serious illness at the same time, such as a significant metabolic disorder

For all participants:

• You have skin conditions (such as infection, wounds, or dermatitis) or metal implants in areas where the brain/muscle recording equipment would be placed
• You have metal implants or other factors that are flagged as safety concerns for MRI or TMS (a type of brain stimulation) procedures (confirm with trial site)
