Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part
- People who can read and understand English
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been receiving treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) for at least 6 months
- People who are currently using a suitable mask for their sleep apnea treatment
- People who are currently using a CPAP machine that works with a system called AirView, or a CPAP machine that can download data using a memory card
Who may not be able to join:
- People who use a Bilevel flow generator (a specific type of breathing support machine, different from a standard CPAP — confirm with trial site if unsure)
- People who are pregnant or who may be pregnant
- People who have a pre-existing lung disease or condition that could increase the risk of a collapsed lung — for example, COPD, lung cancer, lung scarring (fibrosis), a lung infection or pneumonia within the last 2 years, or a lung injury
- People whom the researcher considers unsuitable for the trial for any reason
- People, or whose bed partner, have metal implants in the head, neck, or chest area that are affected by magnetic fields (this applies only to masks that use magnetic clips; some non-metal implants may be acceptable — confirm with trial site)
