Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with plaque-type psoriasis by a board-certified skin doctor, a dermatology nurse practitioner, or through a skin biopsy test.
- Your health insurance covers the biologic medication ustekinumab (Stelara) AND at least one of the following biologic medications: guselkumab (Tremfya) or risankizumab (Skyrizi).
- You have never previously used ustekinumab (Stelara), guselkumab (Tremfya), or risankizumab (Skyrizi).
- Your psoriasis covers at least 10% of your body surface area at the time of your screening and first study visit.
- You are able to read, understand, and sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during a period starting 8 weeks before the study through to 8 weeks after the study ends.
- You are not able to give your own informed consent to participate.
- You are unable to obtain ustekinumab and either guselkumab or risankizumab through your insurance or other means for the duration of the trial.
- You have used a tanning booth within the 4 weeks before your first study visit.
- You have used certain skin treatments on your psoriasis patches — including steroid creams, tar-based products, light therapy, Vitamin D creams, or retinoid creams — within the 2 weeks before your first study visit, or you plan to use them during the trial.
- You have used any systemic (whole-body) or biologic treatments for psoriasis within 8 weeks before your first study visit.
- You have psoriatic arthritis or another related inflammatory condition such as Crohn's disease.
