Who might be able to join this trial:
- People with prostate cancer that has been confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy), where the cancer is localised or locally advanced and has not spread to distant parts of the body (specific staging criteria apply — confirm with trial site)
- People whose cancer type is adenocarcinoma, or a mixed type where adenocarcinoma makes up more than half of the cancer
- People whose treatment plan includes radiation to the nearby lymph nodes

- People who are generally well and able to carry out everyday activities with little or no restriction (performance status 0–1 — confirm with trial site)
- People with a life expectancy of at least 10 years
- People who are able to understand and follow the treatment protocol
- People with no signs of inflammatory bowel disease
- People who are able to attend all required study visits and follow-up appointments
- People who have given signed consent to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already received treatment for prostate cancer
- People who have a hip replacement (prosthesis)
- People who have other metal devices in the pelvic area (small marker seeds called fiducials are an exception)
- People who have had major surgery on the abdomen or rectum in the past
- People who have had another cancer in the last five years, not including certain common skin cancers (basal cell or squamous cell skin cancer)
- People who are unable to understand the patient information or follow treatment and safety instructions
- People who are unable to read and understand patient information in Danish, or who have cognitive difficulties that prevent understanding the information
