Who might be able to join this trial:

• You need a first-time hip replacement on one side due to a non-inflammatory joint disease, such as osteoarthritis, bone tissue death (avascular necrosis), arthritis from a past injury, or certain hip conditions from childhood or injury.
• You are between 50 and 75 years old at the time of joining the study.
• Your doctor has confirmed you are healthy enough to safely have surgery, or any existing health conditions are being managed.
• You are willing and able to attend all required follow-up appointments and complete study questionnaires.
• You have signed and dated a consent form agreeing to take part.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had a hip replacement, partial hip replacement, or hip fusion on your other hip within the last 24 months.
• You had a hip replacement, partial hip replacement, or hip fusion on your other hip more than 24 months ago, but that hip still causes you noticeable pain (confirm with trial site).
• You need or are planning to have a hip replacement on both hips, or a replacement on the other hip within the next 24 months.
• You need or are planning to have a knee replacement within the next 24 months.
• You have a known allergy to titanium or a type of plastic called XLPE.
• You have a known sensitivity to the metals cobalt or chromium.
• You have had a serious joint infection in the hip that needs to be replaced.
• Your hip bones are not strong or healthy enough to properly support an implant (confirm with trial site).
• You are missing or have severely damaged muscles or ligaments around the hip (confirm with trial site).
• You have moderate to severe kidney disease.
• You have poor blood circulation, significant muscle wasting, or a nerve/muscle condition affecting either leg.
• You have a significant deformity or unusual bone structure in the affected hip or leg.
• You have been diagnosed with cancer in the past 5 years, with some limited exceptions for certain treated skin cancers or cervical changes (confirm with trial site for your specific situation).
• You have Paget's disease, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, or a bone-softening condition called osteomalacia.
• You have an inflammatory joint disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, or other immune-related arthritis conditions.
• You have any condition that would prevent you from accurately reporting your own pain, physical function, or quality of life during the study.
• Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 40 or higher.
• You have an active widespread infection, such as hepatitis or HIV/AIDS, or an infection at the site of the planned surgery.
• You are currently taking part in another medical research study unrelated to the care around this surgery.
• You are currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
• You are a competitive or professional athlete.
