  • People who had cancer more than 5 years ago and received chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment that may have affected the heart (this mainly includes survivors of breast cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma, and prostate cancer)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are unable to give written consent to take part in the study
  • People who have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease (a condition affecting the blood vessels of the heart) at the time of joining the trial
  • People who have a history of coronary artery disease at any point in the past
  • People for whom clear CT scan images cannot be obtained
  • People who have a medical reason preventing them from taking statins (a type of cholesterol-lowering medication), cannot tolerate them, or who are already taking them
  • People whose cancer or another serious health condition (including pregnancy) means the trial doctors believe it would not be appropriate for them to participate, or whose life expectancy is less than 12 months for any reason
