Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with a stroke that occurred on the left side of the brain
- People whose consent date is at least 1 month after their stroke happened
- People who are right-handed
- People who are fluent in English
- People who are 18 years of age or older
Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe thinking, hearing, or vision difficulties that would make cognitive and language testing impossible
- People who are assessed as unable to make their own decisions about participation, based on a questionnaire or clinical assessment

- People with a long-term medical condition that is untreated or not currently stable

- People with factors that may lower the threshold at which seizures can occur (confirm with trial site)
- People taking medications that may increase the risk of seizures
- People with untreated sleep deprivation or insomnia
- People with current alcohol dependency or illegal drug use (for example, cocaine or MDMA)
- People with a history of dyslexia or other developmental learning disabilities
