Who might be able to join this trial:
- Men aged 18 or older
- People where doctors suspect prostate cancer may be present
- People with a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test result between 4 and 20 ng/mL
- People whose rectal examination results suggest the cancer, if present, appears to be contained within the prostate gland
- People who are able to give written consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had a prostate biopsy
- People with a past or current diagnosis of prostate cancer
- People for whom an MRI scan is not medically suitable (for example, those with a pacemaker fitted or who experience severe claustrophobia)
- People for whom a transperineal prostate biopsy procedure is not medically suitable — this includes those with an active urinary tract infection, certain positioning or physical limitations, uncorrectable blood clotting problems, or those taking blood-thinning or anti-clotting medications that cannot be safely stopped (confirm with trial site)

Diagnosis of clinically significant Prostate cancer (csPCa); • csPCa is diagnosis of ISUP Grade group ≥2 prostate cancer in at least 1 biopsy core
