- You are an adult who has been diagnosed with early or intermediate stage dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), confirmed by eye imaging photos.
- You are willing to stop taking omega-3 fatty acid, choline, or astaxanthin supplements during the trial.
- You are willing to sign a consent form and attend follow-up appointments for at least 3 months.
Who may not be able to join:

- You have a specific form of AMD involving abnormal blood vessel growth (CNV), advanced AMD with areas of tissue loss (geographic atrophy), or severe short-sightedness in either eye.

- You have taken lutein, zeaxanthin, DHA, or EPA supplements recently, unless you have stopped taking them for at least 8 weeks before joining the trial.

- You have a serious long-term illness affecting your overall health.
- You have a condition, such as a memory or thinking disorder, that may make it difficult to follow the trial schedule reliably.
