Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 12 and 18 years old

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who currently have a psychotic illness, an intellectual disability, or another mental health condition that would make talk therapy (psychotherapy) unsuitable for them
  • People who are currently dependent on drugs or alcohol
  • People who have a physical health condition (such as diabetes or pregnancy) that is known to affect eating or body weight
  • People who have previously received a specific type of family-based therapy called FBT (confirm with trial site)
  • People whose participant or family members cannot speak and understand English
