Who might be able to join this trial:
- Male patients who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (specifically a type called adenocarcinoma), confirmed through a tissue test

- People who have continuously received certain hormone-blocking treatments (such as Lupron or Degarelix) for prostate cancer for more than 90 days before enrolling in the trial
- People who have previously had radiation therapy to the prostate or to the pelvic lymph nodes
- People who have previously had major surgery, such as bowel reconnection surgery or full bladder removal
- People with a history of a condition called ulcerative proctitis (inflammation of the lower bowel lining)
- People who have had another active cancer within the last 2 years
- People who have received any other systemic cancer treatment, including experimental treatments, within 4 weeks before joining the trial
- People whose prostate cancer has spread to distant parts of the body beyond the local or regional area (known as M1 disease)
