Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are generally healthy, apart from having atopic dermatitis (eczema) and possibly other related conditions like hay fever, eye allergies, or asthma
• You are able to continue any current allergy or asthma medications (such as antihistamines, inhaled steroids, or similar treatments) during the study if you already take them
• A parent or legal guardian is able to give written permission for the child to take part, and children over 8 years old (in Argentina) or over 12 years old (in Singapore) must also give their own written agreement
• You are willing to continue your normal hygiene routine and use sunscreen as usual during the study
• You and your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are willing to follow all study rules and procedures
• The child is male or female, aged between 6 months and 15 years old
• The child has had at least one eczema flare-up per month on average over the four months before joining the study, including a flare-up at the first visit
• The child's eczema is rated as "moderate" using a standard skin scoring system at the first visit (confirm with trial site)
• At the first visit, a doctor is prescribing a topical (applied to the skin) treatment such as a steroid cream or a specific type of eczema cream for the flare-up

Who may not be able to join:

• The child has another skin condition in the area being studied, such as acne or psoriasis, besides eczema
• The child has recently used or is currently using oral steroids, immunosuppressant tablets (such as ciclosporin), or other systemic (whole-body) treatments that could affect how the study product is assessed (confirm with trial site)
• The child uses any moisturising skin products other than the ones provided by the study, starting from the first visit
• The child has taken immune-suppressing medicines or antibiotics within the 14 days before the study begins
• The child has a serious ongoing illness that requires regular medication, such as insulin-dependent diabetes or cancer, or any condition that could affect their participation or the study results
• The child has a known allergy to any ingredient in the study product or the placebo (dummy product)
• The child is already taking part in another clinical trial at the same time as this study
• In the investigator's opinion, the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are unlikely to follow the study rules consistently
