Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with locally returning prostate cancer, confirmed by both tissue biopsy and imaging scans
- People who are willing to give their agreement to take part in this clinical trial

Who may not be able to join:
- People for whom an MRI scan of the prostate is not safe or suitable
- People taking blood-thinning medications that cannot be safely stopped
- People who have been diagnosed with a condition that causes abnormal bleeding
- People with poor urinary function before treatment, measured by a symptom score above 20 on a standard prostate urinary questionnaire (called the IPSS)
- People whose cancer appears to no longer be responding to hormone treatment, based on specific PSA and testosterone blood test levels — or people who were put on a particular type of hormone therapy because their PSA levels were rising (confirm with trial site)
- People whose staging scans show cancer has spread to lymph nodes outside the pelvis or to other parts of the body
- People who have previously received a specific type of high-dose, short-course radiotherapy (where each treatment dose was 5Gy or higher)
