Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body, is no longer responding to hormone-suppressing treatments and/or chemotherapy, and is getting worse over time.
  • People whose cancer has been confirmed by a specific type of scan (called a 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT scan) to have spread to distant parts of the body and to show high levels of a protein marker called PSMA, with this scan done within one week before receiving the trial treatment.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose cancer shows up on a different type of scan (called an FDG PET scan) but does not also show the PSMA marker on the PSMA scan.
  • People who have received another type of radioactive treatment within the past 6 months.
  • People whose bone marrow, liver, or kidney function is significantly reduced, including those with low red blood cell levels (haemoglobin below 9.0 g/dL), low white blood cell counts (below 2.5×10⁹/L), low platelet counts (below 100×10⁹/L), or reduced kidney function as measured by a blood marker called creatinine (above 100 μmol/L).
