Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children between 8 and 17 years old who have obesity (a body weight that falls at or above the 95th percentile for their age and sex) and mild asthma.
- The child's parent or legal guardian must give written permission for them to take part, and the child must also agree to participate.

Who may not be able to join:

- Anyone who is currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
- Children whose lung function test results fall below a certain level at the screening visit (confirm with trial site).
- Anyone who has had lung surgery in the past two years.
- Anyone who has had a blood clot in the lungs (pulmonary embolism) in the past two years.
- Anyone who has ever had repeated collapsed lungs, or a collapsed lung within the past 12 months.
- Anyone who currently has chest pain that has not been explained or diagnosed by a doctor.
- Anyone who has had inner ear surgery in the past 12 months.
- Anyone who has had unexplained fainting episodes in the past two years.
- Anyone with a progressive condition affecting the nerves or muscles, or who needs ongoing oxygen therapy.
- Anyone who is unable to complete the starting measurements of the study to the satisfaction of the research team.
- Anyone who, in the opinion of the lead researcher, has any condition that could make it unsafe for them to take part in study activities — such as a physical disability, a recent injury, or unexplained heart, lung, or nerve symptoms (confirm with trial site).
