- People who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis, confirmed through their medical history, symptoms, a camera examination of the bowel (endoscopy), and a tissue sample (biopsy)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have another type of inflammatory bowel disease, such as Crohn's disease
- People who have had a serious allergic reaction to empagliflozin or any of its ingredients
