Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with a head or neck cancer
• People whose treatment plan includes both chemotherapy and radiation therapy, with the goal of curing the cancer

• People who can read and write French well enough to fill out questionnaires on their own

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose cancer has spread to distant parts of the body
• People who have previously had, or are planned to have, a full surgical removal of the voice box (larynx)
• People who have a known history of moderate or severe swallowing difficulties, or who have already been assessed for this by a speech therapist
• People who have been diagnosed with a second, separate cancer at the same time as joining the study
• People who have previously had radiation therapy to the head or neck area
• People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, a cognitive impairment that could significantly affect their ability to take part in the trial and its assessments
