Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 45 years of age or older
  • You have a cataract in both eyes that is affecting your vision
  • You have been diagnosed with mild open-angle glaucoma, with eye pressure of 25 mmHg or below while taking 1 to 3 glaucoma medications
  • Your glaucoma has been considered stable by your doctor for at least the past year, based on your medical records

  • Your doctor believes your vision could reach at least 20/25 after surgery

  • You have previously had glaucoma surgery that involved cutting into the eye, or surgery to reduce fluid production in the eye
  • You had laser glaucoma treatment within the 90 days before surgery
  • You have a specific type of glaucoma other than open-angle glaucoma, such as angle closure, traumatic, or other types listed (confirm with trial site)
  • Your glaucoma is classed as moderate or severe, meaning your vision field test results show significant damage
  • Your glaucoma is getting worse over time, based on your medical records
  • Your eye pressure is not well controlled even on the maximum amount of glaucoma medication
  • Your doctor expects you will need more advanced glaucoma surgery in the future
  • You have another eye condition or health problem that your doctor believes puts you at higher risk during the study
  • You have an eye condition that may affect your vision after surgery, such as significant dry eye, corneal scarring, macular degeneration, or a history of serious eye injury
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have previously had laser eye surgery to correct your vision, such as LASIK or PRK
  • If you experience serious complications during surgery or during the study period, you may need to leave the trial
