Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a woman aged 18 to 75 years old
- Your breast cancer has been confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy) to be HER2-positive
- Your breast cancer is at stage II or III and you have not yet received any treatment for it
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (confirm with trial site)
- Your organs such as your liver, kidneys, and heart are functioning at a good level (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have already received any cancer treatment such as chemotherapy, radiation, targeted therapy, or hormone therapy
- You are currently receiving any other cancer treatment at the same time as this trial
- You have cancer in both breasts, inflammatory breast cancer, or a type where the original tumour cannot be found (occult breast cancer)
- Your breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body (stage IV)
- You have had any other type of cancer in the past 5 years, unless it was a fully cured cervical pre-cancer or a certain type of non-serious skin cancer
- You have difficulty swallowing, ongoing diarrhoea, a bowel blockage, or any other condition that may affect how your body takes in medication
- You have taken part in another clinical drug trial within the last 4 weeks
- You have had an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients used in the treatments being studied in this trial
- You have a significant lung condition or disease
- You have a significant heart or blood vessel condition or disease
- You have a history of immune system deficiency
- You currently have active hepatitis or liver cirrhosis
