Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 20 years or older
- People who are able to give informed consent to participate
- People who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder according to the DSM-5 diagnostic guidelines
- People who score 7 or higher on the Calgary Depression Scale for Schizophrenia, which measures depression symptoms in people with schizophrenia

- People who have metal or mechanical fragments in their body, such as surgical screws, plates, stents, or clips
- People who are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant within 3 months
- People who have a known or past neurological condition, including stroke, epilepsy (or abnormal brain wave patterns detected before the first session), brain tumour, or other brain lesions
- People who have received rTMS or iTBS brain stimulation treatment within the past 3 months
- People who have a significant abnormal finding on their screening examination that could affect safety, their ability to participate, or the reliability of the study results (confirm with trial site)
