Who might be able to join this trial:
For breast cancer survivors:
- People who are biologically female
- People who are able to speak and understand English
- People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer
- People who finished their main cancer treatments (such as surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy) at least 3 months ago but no more than 5 years ago — ongoing hormonal treatments (such as aromatase inhibitors) or trastuzumab do not count toward this timeframe
- People who have a supportive partner or caregiver who is also willing to take part in the trial
For supportive partners/caregivers:
- People who have been named by the breast cancer survivor as their supportive partner
- People who live in the same household as the survivor
- People who are able to speak and understand English
Who may not be able to join:
For breast cancer survivors:
- People who currently live in a nursing home
- People who currently meditate regularly (one or more sessions per week), or who have meditated regularly in the past 4 years — meaning more than two meditation sessions per year, whether in a group or individually (the Principal Investigator will assess this)
For supportive partners/caregivers:
- People who currently meditate regularly (one or more sessions per week), or who have meditated regularly in the past 4 years — meaning more than two meditation sessions per year, whether in a group or individually (the Principal Investigator will assess this)
