- You must be an adult aged 18 or over who has been diagnosed with gallstone disease.
- Your gallstone diagnosis must have been confirmed by a scan or imaging test at an East Kent University Foundation Trust Hospital.
- People of any gender, ethnicity, or financial background are welcome to participate.
- Pregnant women are eligible to take part.
- You can join whether you are having your gallbladder removed through traditional open surgery or keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery.
Who may not be able to join:
- Anyone under the age of 18 cannot take part in this trial.
- Anyone who does not have the mental ability to understand and agree to taking part in the study is not eligible.
