Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA), a condition that affects language and communication
- You speak both Spanish and Catalan, or both Spanish and English
- You do not need to be equally good in both languages — any level of experience in each language is acceptable
- If joining the treatment part of the study: you score 15 or higher on a standard memory and thinking test called the Mini-Mental State Examination
- If joining the assessment-only part of the study: you score 10 or higher on the Mini-Mental State Examination
Who may not be able to join:
- You have another brain or nervous system condition, or other medical condition, that could be causing similar symptoms
- You have a psychiatric condition that could be causing similar symptoms
- You have significant vision or hearing problems that have not been corrected and would make it hard to take part
- Your main early symptoms involve difficulties with thinking, behaviour, or movement rather than language (confirm with trial site)
- If joining the treatment part of the study: you score below 15 on the Mini-Mental State Examination
- If joining the assessment-only part of the study: you score below 10 on the Mini-Mental State Examination
