Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with one of the following lung conditions: interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or pulmonary hypertension
- You are older than 18 years of age
- Your Body Mass Index (BMI) — a measure of body weight relative to height — is greater than 30
- You need extra oxygen when you are physically active or exercising
- Your current treatment plan has remained unchanged for at least the past 90 days
- You are currently taking medication specifically designed to treat your lung disease
Who may not be able to join:
- You have diabetes
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have recently lost a significant amount of weight (confirm with trial site)
- You currently have or recently had ongoing stomach or digestive problems
- You have a history of gastroparesis (a condition where the stomach empties food too slowly)
- You have a history of scleroderma (a condition affecting the skin and connective tissues)
- You are currently in the hospital at the time of your evaluation
- You have used any weight loss medications in the past 90 days
- You or a close family member have a history of a specific type of thyroid cancer (medullary thyroid cancer) or a condition called multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
- You have a thyroid condition that is not well controlled
- You have a history of inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), whether past or ongoing
- You have previously attempted suicide
- You have had thoughts of suicide in the past 90 days
- You have a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator device in your body
