Who might be able to join this trial:
- The trial involves a patient aged 60 or older and a care partner aged 18 or older joining together as a pair.
- The care partner is someone who has a reciprocal relationship with the patient, providing emotional or physical support and help with decision-making — such as a spouse, partner, relative, or close friend who spends significant time with the patient.
- The patient and care partner together have access to a smartphone or Wi-Fi.
- The patient scores 20 or above on a standard anxiety questionnaire (PROMIS-Anxiety short form), OR scores 5 or above on a sleep and anxiety scale (SSASI), OR scores 31 or above on a perceived stress scale (NIH Toolbox Perceived Stress Scale).
- In addition to the above, at least one of the following applies: the patient scores between 17 and 26 on a memory and thinking assessment (MoCA), OR the patient scores 3 or greater on a memory complaint scale, OR the care partner scores between 2 and 12.5 on a dementia rating scale completed about the patient.
Who may not be able to join:
- Patients who have vision or hearing difficulties that would prevent them from reading or listening to computer-based presentations.
- Patients who have medical conditions that would prevent them from taking part in the study (confirm with trial site).
- Patients who have a severe mental health condition, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder that is not being treated with medication.
- Care partners who have vision or hearing difficulties that would prevent them from reading or listening to computer-based presentations.
