Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are older than 18 years of age, either male or female.
- People who have been formally diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) or acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) that has come back or has not responded to treatment.
- People whose leukaemia is not suitable for standard treatments that are expected to lead to lasting remission or cure, or for whom no other treatment options with proven benefit are available.
- People who are reasonably able to carry out daily activities, based on a standard medical rating scale that measures general health and activity level (confirm with trial site).
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently receiving chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or immunotherapy at the same time as the trial.
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial, or who have taken part in one within the past 30 days.
- People who have a specific type of leukaemia called acute promyelocytic leukaemia, or whose leukaemia has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
- People who have been diagnosed with another active cancer within the past 2 years, with the exception of certain skin cancers or cancers that have already been fully treated with a curative aim.
- People who have mental health or cognitive conditions that would prevent them from giving informed consent or from following the trial procedures.
