Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People with a history of certain unstable heart conditions, including irregular heartbeats, a thickened heart muscle, severe narrowing of the aortic valve, chest pain, or shortness of breath at rest or during everyday activities
  • People who have a pre-existing neurological condition or dementia (other than the stroke)
  • People with severe vision impairment
  • People who have had a blood clot in the leg (DVT) or lungs within the past 6 months
  • People with poorly controlled diabetes that has recently caused significant weight loss, diabetic coma, or frequent dangerous drops in blood sugar
