Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are 18 years old or older
• You are able to read and speak in English
• You have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa (AN) or atypical anorexia nervosa according to standard psychiatric guidelines (DSM-5), confirmed at the time of entering a higher level of care (such as inpatient or residential treatment)
• You are currently in a higher level of care and preparing to move to regular outpatient care, or you have already moved to outpatient care within the last 3 months
• Your current BMI is 18.5 or higher, or it is expected to reach that level by the time you are discharged
• Your BMI increased by at least 0.5 units while you were in the higher level of care
• You are able to give permission for the study team to contact one of your current physical or mental health providers during the study
• You are willing to take part in weekly check-ins (including weight monitoring) and to have your therapy sessions audio or video recorded during the study
• You have access to a smartphone and/or computer so you can take part in therapy and assessments remotely

Who may not be able to join:

• You are currently considered medically too unwell to receive outpatient care
• You are currently pregnant
• You have ever been diagnosed with a primary psychotic disorder or bipolar I disorder (confirm with trial site)
• You currently have a substance use disorder according to standard psychiatric guidelines (DSM-5)
• You are already receiving outpatient therapy that is very similar in content to the therapy used in this study (confirm with trial site)
