Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have given their written agreement to take part (or whose legal representative has done so on their behalf)
- Adults aged 18 years or older
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a minimum level, as measured by standard scoring tools used in cancer care (confirm with trial site)
- People who have been diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue
- People whose lymphoma has come back or has stopped responding to previous treatment
- People who are scheduled to receive a commercial CAR T-cell treatment (a type of immune cell therapy) within 3 months of joining the trial
- People with 6 or fewer areas of active disease that can be targeted with a specific radiation planning approach (confirm with trial site)
- People who have at least one tumour area large enough to be measured on a CT or MRI scan (at least 1.5 cm)
- People who have mostly recovered from side effects of previous cancer treatments (minor side effects at a low level are acceptable; hair loss is an exception)
- Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test within 30 days before starting the trial treatment
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously received a therapy that targets the CD19 protein
- People who have had radiation therapy within the 21 days before starting the trial treatment
- People who have lymphoma affecting the central nervous system (brain or spinal cord)
- People with a history of serious allergic reactions to medications similar to the one used in this trial
- People who currently have active diarrhoea
- People with a significant ongoing illness that is not well controlled
- People who currently have an active infection being treated with antibiotics
- People who have another active cancer in addition to large B-cell lymphoma
- People who are pregnant
- People whose overall situation, in the trial doctor's judgement, would make participation unsafe
- People who, in the trial doctor's opinion, may not be able to follow all of the trial's required procedures
