Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old
- People whose blood pressure readings are high — either at least 140/90 mmHg in a clinic setting, or an average of at least 135/85 mmHg over a 24-hour monitoring period

- People who have only one kidney or have had a kidney transplant
- People who have previously had a procedure on their kidney arteries or a nerve-blocking procedure around the kidney arteries
- People with a confirmed type of high blood pressure caused by something other than kidney tissue disease (confirm with trial site)
- People with a cancer diagnosis or an end-stage (advanced, life-limiting) illness
- People with severe disease of the blood vessels in the limbs, or an enlarged aorta in the abdomen (abdominal aortic aneurysm)
- People whose left heart chamber (left atrium) measures larger than 55mm
- People with a notable tendency to bleed or a diagnosed blood disorder
- People who have had an acute coronary syndrome (such as a heart attack or severe chest pain episode) within the past two weeks
- People with a current acute or serious infection affecting the whole body
- People with dependence on drugs or alcohol, or who are unwilling to sign the consent form
- People who have other conditions that make them unsuitable for the two procedures involved in this trial (confirm with trial site)
