Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have already finished all of your regular physical therapy sessions
- You are between 16 and 35 years old
- You had surgery to reconstruct your ACL (a ligament in the knee) between 6 and 60 months (up to 5 years) before joining the study
- When you walk, your leg puts less force through the ground than expected — this would be measured and confirmed by the research team (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- You had surgery on more than one knee ligament at the same time, such as the PCL (a ligament at the back of the knee)
- You have had a fracture (broken bone) in your leg, such as a certain type of break at the top of the shin bone
- You have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis (wear and tear of the cartilage) in your knee
