Who might be able to join this trial:

Who may not be able to join:

• People who regularly use asthma controller medications other than the combination inhaler (steroid plus long-acting reliever).
• People who have previously had a procedure called bronchial thermoplasty (a procedure that uses heat to treat the airways).
• People who currently smoke, have a significant smoking history (10 or more pack-years), or currently use vaping products including e-cigarettes.
• Women who are pregnant, considering becoming pregnant, or currently breastfeeding.
• People who have, or have had, a significant lung disease other than asthma.
• People who have a blood clotting disorder or a condition affecting their platelets (cells that help blood clot).
• People who have a history of blood clots in the veins or arteries, deep vein thrombosis, a blood clot in the lungs, moderate to severe heart failure, stroke, heart attack, or who have had heart stenting or bypass surgery.
• People who have been diagnosed with other serious heart or blood vessel conditions, including angina (chest pain from the heart), peripheral arterial disease, or uncontrolled irregular heart rhythms such as atrial fibrillation or certain types of fast heartbeat.
• People who have received an organ transplant and are still taking medication to prevent rejection.
• People whose immune system is weakened due to conditions such as lymphoma, AIDS, or certain rare immune disorders.
• People who have had any form of cancer, or have a current cancer diagnosis.
• People who have chronic or frequently recurring infections.
• People who have received a biologic medication (an advanced injectable treatment) for asthma within approximately the past 12 weeks or longer before screening, depending on the specific medication (confirm with trial site).
