Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with open angle glaucoma, pseudoexfoliative glaucoma, or pigmentary glaucoma
- Your eye pressure (measured before the procedure) is between 18 and 45 mmHg
- Your vision test shows a certain level of sight loss, specifically a visual field mean deviation score of -3dB or worse (confirm with trial site)
- There is a healthy, clear, and movable area of the thin tissue covering the white of your eye (called the conjunctiva) in the area where the procedure would take place
- The drainage angle in your eye meets a specific measurement requirement called a Shaffer grade of 3 or higher (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have angle closure glaucoma (a different type of glaucoma where the drainage angle is blocked)
- You have glaucoma caused by other conditions, such as abnormal blood vessel growth or a condition present from birth
- You have had previous eye surgery, unless it was a laser treatment for glaucoma or a straightforward cataract removal that took place more than 3 months before your pre-surgery visit
- You have had a glaucoma drainage device or valve placed in the same area of the eye being studied
- You have had a significant eye infection or inflammation in the eye being studied within the last 30 days
- You have a history of corneal surgery, scarring, or disease affecting the clear front surface of your eye
- You currently have active diabetic retinopathy (eye damage caused by diabetes)
