Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis (joint wear and tear) in one of the following areas: fingers or wrists, elbow, shoulder, knee, or ankle and foot joints
- You have never before received low-dose radiation therapy on the affected joint
- You are willing to attend all treatment and follow-up appointments, and you live close enough to the trial site to do so
Who may not be able to join:
- You currently have or have previously had a cancer diagnosis
- You are able to become pregnant or father a child, and you are not willing or able to use reliable contraception throughout the treatment period
- You currently have an ongoing problem with misuse of drugs, medications, or alcohol
- Your doctor believes that taking part in the trial would not be in your best interests, for example if it would mean temporarily stopping important medications you rely on
- Your osteoarthritis diagnosis is not fully confirmed or there is uncertainty about the diagnosis of the joint being treated
- You have previously had radiation therapy as a treatment for cancer
