Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are between 18 and 64 years old
• People who have been clinically diagnosed with a first or repeat stroke (either ischaemic, caused by a blocked blood vessel, or haemorrhagic, caused by bleeding in the brain)
• People who are living at home at the time of the study
• People whose thinking and memory abilities are above a certain minimum level, as measured by a standard assessment called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (confirm with trial site for exact score requirement)
• People with a disability level rated as "moderately severe" or lower on a standard stroke recovery scale called the Modified Rankin Scale
• People who are able to speak Cantonese and read Traditional Chinese
• People who were in regular paid employment at the time of their stroke
• People who have been out of work for at least 3 months by the time they are enrolled in the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have been diagnosed with a transient ischaemic attack (sometimes called a "mini-stroke") rather than a full stroke
• People whose stroke or brain event was caused by a tumour
• People who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition such as depression, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder
• People who have significant difficulty speaking clearly or understanding conversations
• People who are currently taking part in, or have already completed, a vocational (work-related) rehabilitation programme
