Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Long COVID
- You previously tested positive for COVID-19
- You have been experiencing symptoms for more than 12 weeks after having COVID
- You have noticed problems with thinking, memory, or mental clarity (sometimes called "brain fog")
- You have been diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) at the Calgary Autonomic Investigation and Management Clinic (confirm with trial site)
- You are a healthy person without POTS or "brain fog" (the trial also includes healthy participants for comparison)
- You are between 18 and 60 years old
- You are male or female
- You are able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have POTS caused by a clear, known reason such as dehydration or being on bed rest for a long time
- You are taking medication(s) that cannot safely be paused and that might affect the test results
- There are other reasons, in the opinion of the research team, that would make it difficult for you to complete the study, such as an unpredictable schedule
- You are not able to understand or sign a consent form agreeing to take part
