Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People over 18 years old who have received a type of chemotherapy called anthracycline-based therapy for breast cancer or lymphoma within the last 30 days
  • People who also meet at least one of the following additional conditions: have had previous radiation treatment to the chest area; are over 50 years old; have type 2 diabetes; have high blood pressure; currently smoke; have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher (classified as obese); have previously had a heart attack; have established heart disease related to artery blockages or significant heart valve problems; or have chronic kidney disease

  • People whose heart rhythm is controlled by an atrial pacemaker
  • People who have a history of seizures and are currently receiving treatment for them
  • People who have a history of vasovagal syncope (a condition where fainting occurs due to a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure)
  • People with end-stage liver or kidney disease (meaning the liver or kidneys are in the most severe stage of failure)
