Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old (any gender)
- You have been formally diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis based on specific medical criteria, such as calcium deposits in the pancreas, significant damage to the pancreatic ducts, clear signs that your pancreas is not digesting food properly (which improves with enzyme supplements), or results from a tissue sample showing typical signs of chronic pancreatitis (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:
- You have had a flare-up of acute (sudden) pancreatitis in the last 30 days
- You have another chronic pain condition (besides pancreatitis) that requires you to take opioid pain medication every day
- Your blood test results show certain abnormal levels, including low red blood cells, reduced kidney function, elevated liver enzymes, high bilirubin (unless you have a specific inherited condition called Gilbert syndrome), low platelets, or poorly controlled blood sugar (confirm with trial site)
- You have a heart failure condition that affects your daily activity even slightly (confirm with trial site)
- You have a history of cancer, except for certain skin cancers or cancers that were fully removed by surgery and have not returned
- You currently have an active infection being treated with antibiotics, or you have Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV
- You have a known severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to contrast dye used in certain scans
- You have had a problem with alcohol abuse or illegal drug use in the past six months
- You have taken part in another clinical trial involving an experimental drug or device within the past 30 days, or you expect to do so during this study
- You are planning to have a procedure or surgery on your pancreas within the next 6 months
- You currently have an infected fluid collection or area of dead tissue around your pancreas
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or are of childbearing potential and are not willing to use adequate contraception during the study — this applies to both female participants and male participants whose partners could become pregnant
- You are unwilling or unable to follow the study's plan and attend required assessments
